Each tea typè is offered in multiple tier levels (A–D) which reflect differences in leaf material, sorting, and overall consistency. The Tier letters do not correspond with quality IE A does not mean best. It is just a way to differentiate.

 

Higher batches generally show better balance and clarity, but all are selected to represent solid, drinkable examples of the style at that level.
