The tea originates from Brown Mountain Old Manlong village, known for its secretive location about 3 kilometers off the main path, where tea trees aged up to 300 years old are harvested.
Notes:
The area surrounding the tea field is rich in pear and white flowers, attracting bees, and maintaining a well-preserved natural ecology. The locals refer to the area as "Bee Ching" due to the presence of bees. The tea garden is mostly composed of wild tea trees.
Tasting Notes:
Despite the common perception of Brown Mountain tea being bitter and heavy, this tea presents a less bitter taste, with some areas producing sweeter tea. Grown at 1300 meters altitude in a rich humid climate, the tea trees grow naturally alongside forest weeds, contributing to its high fragrance and strong flavor characteristics.
