Note: Sourced from the secluded cliffs of Lianhua Peak, this Taoxi Da Hong Pao is a masterful six-cultivar blend (Shui Xian, Rou Gui, Jin Mudan, Huang Guanyin, Qi Dan, and Huang Qi) crafted by Gao Peng under the direct guidance of his mother, Chen Zhenying – Deputy Director of the Wuyi Mountain Tea Research Institute. Traditional charcoal roasting and precise blending highlight the natural, vivid peach fragrance that blooms from the unique Danxia terroir and the synergy of these famous bushes.
Tasting Notes: An intense, completely natural ripe-peach aroma rises instantly from the hot leaves and empty cup. The bright orange-red liquor enters sweet and refreshing, with peach notes exploding on the tip of the tongue. Orchid, cinnamon, and gardenia layers follow, giving way to a deep mineral rock rhyme and smooth mouthfeel.
