This pot is made by an artist from Jingdezhen who we call "one".
To risk sounding like an inarticulate art curator, his work is very natural and raw utilizing high temperature reduction firing with local clay from Yixing (not zisha!). The clay body you will see is similar to my other friend Xiao's pots, but are entirely different styles. The colors in his pots are a result of how the falling ash from the burning wood interacts with each individual pot, giving each pot a completely different finish.
