This teapot is a tribute to 惠逸公. Hui YiGong was a parallel to the often mentioned Hui MengChen. YiGong lived from 1766-1831 and is famous for drafting various teapot shape sketches. Teapots made in the image of his famous sketches are referred to as 逸公图片壶.
History lesson aside, this is a sweet little pot. The walls are very thin and it has a beautiful ring when you remove the lid. The handle is dainty as is the spout. Truly a fun little pot!
